    Description

1989 Porsche Coupe color silver. Believed original paint, black interior. Was owned by a German Engineer and helicoptor pilot who maintained it well, had timing belt changed. He passed away 10 years ago. I acquired it from his widow, have good Florida title in my name. It was stored with fuel in tank. I drained tank, removed fuel pump, hoses and filters, which are included, but need replacement, so car is NOT running. I removed spark plugs, put oil in cylinders, turned engine over, installed new plugs. Installed new rubber J hose to air flow in engine bay. Have original key and a new uncut key from Porsche. Car has 4 alloy wheels and tires, one silver painted steel spare wheel . Body is in excellent condition, no collision damage. Paint appears to be original with no clear coat. I wet sanded right rear quarter with 1200 paper, hand rubbed with polishing compound, and waxed. It looks very good and does not need to be painted., just needs the rest carefully detailed as UI have done.. Car is Not rusted. I cleaned under back and in rear wheel wells and painted hammered silver Rustoleum. I am a Jaguar, not Porsche specialist, so have decided to pass it on to a Porsche lover.. This is an excellent car, no rust, no collision damage; ideal for a light restoration without having to repaint.. Black leather shows small tears in drivers' seat, but overall look good. Battery takes but will not hold a charge. All lights seem to work, including turn signals. and electric windows.. All electricals seem to work except wiper, which does not work. Radio is missing.. Last photos show back area and rear seats., which look very good. The engineer did not have children, so they were probably always folded down.. Not a Turbo. Located Sebring Florida, 33870.
