This is a diamond eye anchor circa 1750 - 1850.
It was pulled up by a shrimp boat off of Chincoteague Va. Clearly, it spent centuries at the bottom of the Atlantic. Who knows the circumstances that put this ol' timer in its salt water grave.
Luckily, it was resurrected and is now ready grace your bar, restaurant, or private collection. It's about 70%covered in white star coral, adding to its mystique. "If this thing could talk..."
Not many people own something that may be older than the Declaration!
