Developed by Richard Marsh: Monster Clean Power circuitry was designed by Richard Marsh, a world leading designer of ultra-high performance audiophile power circuits.
Safety And Protection: The Monster HTS 1000 MKIII features over 6125 Joules of extreme protection that can absorb powerful surges and spikes. Unlike ordinary surge protectors, advanced Monster PowerCenters also actively monitor incoming power and automatically disconnect your valuable equipment before damage occurs.
Complete Protection: All of a component's inputs and outlets need to be protected, or the entire system will be vulnerable. Often missed are telephone lines and cable and satellite connections, which can carry dangerous power surges and spikes to your equipment. In addition to 4 unswitched AC outlets and 4 switched AC outlets, the Monster HTS 1000 MKIII features comprehensive protection with coax, network and phone connections for satellite, TiVo, cable, and HDTV protection.
*4 Switched/4 Unswitched AC Outlets: Ultra-Wide transformer spaced 3-prong AC outlets that can even accommodate bulky AC adapter without blocking other outlets
*2 Coax Inputs/Outputs: Ultra-Low, protected coaxial cable connections provide maximum protection with a minimum signal loss of less than .5 dB
*Phone and Network Inputs/Outputs: RJ45 and RJ11 phone and network connections provide fast acting, high capacity surge protection.
*Clean Power Stage 2 Technology: Monster Clean Power Circuitry Stage 2 filters provide excellent AC power line noise rejection and isolation of audio and video equipment for component-generated noise rejection. When you connect your home theater components to a Monster HTS 1000 MKIII PowerCenter you'll get the best possible picture and sound from your components with a more natural sound, increased dynamic range, and the most vivid video images possible.
*T2 Circuitry: Microprocessor controlled T2 circuitry, a Monster Power exclusive, not only protects your AV equipment, but protects the PowerCenter as well. Unlike ordinary surge protectors which only use MOVs (Metal Oxide Varistors) for surge absorption, the HTS 1000 MKIII's T2 protection circuitry automatically disconnects the PowerCenter and all of your connected AV equipment when it senses dangerous power conditions, completely isolating them from potentially damaging sags, spikes, and surges. T2 Circuitry continues to actively monitor power conditions, then automatically reconnects when AC power returns to normal.
*Tri-Mode Protection Circuitry: Monster's Tri-Mode protection circuitry incorporates an audible alarm that will tell you when the PowerCenter has protected your AV system from damage.
*Remote DC Control: This feature provides an on/off trigger for the HTS 1000 MKIII using a 3-30VDC remote control signal. Many components have a 12VDC trigger built-in and will transmit a constant power signal when turned on and in use. When you turn the component on, the HTS 1000 MKIII's switched outlets will turn on immediately. The Remote DC Control input uses a standard 3.5mm mini-plug jack.
*Digital LED Voltmeter: The unit's built-in precision Digital LED Voltmeter continuously displays the incoming line voltage so you can readily identify the source of power trouble.
*Color-coded Outlet Tabs: Each component connection is color-coded for easy identification.
*Power Cord: The unit features an 8' high-current PowerLine 100 power cord with 24k gold-plated contacts for maximum power transfer and resistance to corrosion. The "FlatProfile" right-angle plug design protrudes less than 1" from wall socket to allow room for furniture placement near wall.
*Wall Mounting: Two keyhole slots on the back panel allow you to wall mount the HTS1000 MKIII using optional screws. The unit also features four rubber feet for added stability when placed on a flat surface.
•Controls and Indicators
*Top of Unit:
Master On/Off Power Switch: illuminates in red when on
